1. General
With the new, enhanced SELLSATION Microsoft 365 integration, a seamless connection between both systems is ensured. Calendar entries and emails can be synchronized bidirectionally between Outlook 365 and SELLSATION. Additionally, appointment invitations and Microsoft Teams meeting invitations can be sent from SELLSATION.
The new SELLSATION Outlook 365 integration offers the following features:
- Bidirectional synchronization of calendar entries between Microsoft 365 and SELLSATION
- Bidirectional synchronization of incoming and outgoing emails between Microsoft 365 and SELLSATION
- Sending invitations to Microsoft Teams meetings and appointment invitations from SELLSATION
- Automatic creation of customers and projects from incoming emails
- SELLSATION Outlook Add-In to assign emails in Outlook to the desired SELLSATION customer or sales project

On the Microsoft 365 Integration page, you can sign up for the following functions:
- Calendar Synchronization & Outlook Add-in
- Email Synchronization
This separation is possible to allow different calendar and email addresses to be synchronized, which may be necessary in some companies.
After signing up, the page will look like this:
2. Synchronize Calendar Entries
Calendar entries can be synchronized bidirectionally. Once you establish the connection to the desired Office 365 account in the administration, calendar entries from the Office 365 calendar will be displayed in SELLSATION, and vice versa.
3. Send Appointment Invitations and Microsoft Teams Links from SELLSATION
When calendar synchronization is enabled, you can also send appointment invitations and Microsoft Teams links from SELLSATION.
When you create appointments and add participants, you can make the following settings:

Send invitations to participants

Add a comment in the invitation

Insert Microsoft Teams link
Send Invitations to Participants: If this option is selected, an invitation will be sent to the participants via Outlook after saving the appointment.
Insert Microsoft Teams Link: If this option is selected, a Microsoft Teams link will be sent via Outlook after saving the appointment.
Include Comment in Invitation: If this option is selected, any comment in the appointment will also be sent to the participants. It is automatically activated when you insert a Teams link.
4. Automatically Assign Incoming and Outgoing Emails to Existing Customers and Contacts
With this feature, incoming and outgoing emails from Microsoft 365 can be automatically synchronized with SELLSATION and vice versa.
- Emails and attachments you send in Outlook will be displayed in SELLSATION for the respective customer, project, or contact if the email addresses belong to customers or contacts in SELLSATION.
- Emails sent from SELLSATION will also be visible in the Outlook Outbox.
- Received emails from customers and contacts will automatically be displayed in the SELLSATION detail view.
By using this feature, all email correspondence will be visible in SELLSATION.
If you want to see emails from contacts in the customer or project timeline, you must enable it here:
If you select "Select All Sub-items," all emails and activities from contacts will be visible in the customer or project timeline.
With selective selection, you can choose which contact emails and activities are visible.
5. SELLSATION Outlook Add-In
As an alternative to the automatic email synchronization with the Microsoft 365 synchronization described above, the SELLSATION Outlook Add-In allows emails with attachments to be manually or automatically assigned to SELLSATION customers and projects. More information about the Outlook Add-In will follow shortly.
6. Create Customers and Projects from Incoming Emails
When this feature is enabled, private customers and projects will automatically be created from incoming emails if the email addresses cannot be matched with existing customers or contacts in SELLSATION. The first and last name of the sender and the email address will be automatically transferred. The project name will be the creation date, i.e., the date the email was sent.
The full email will be displayed in the SELLSATION detail view.
If this feature is enabled, you must select which sales process the projects will be created in.
This function is only available to users with administrator rights.
7. Create Customers and Projects from Selected Email Addresses
With this feature, you can define one or more email addresses that will automatically lead to the creation of private customers and projects, even if the sender's address already exists in SELLSATION.
The full email will be displayed in the SELLSATION detail view.
